2012: The End of the World As We Know It

December 21st, 2012 has arrived on the spot and the Galactic Alignment has occurred, carrying all of the residents of planet Earth through a massive photon belt. This is an extraordinary event, that will be remembered for centuries to come, on a macro cosmic level. The term, “apocalypse” is often used in a connotative notion to describe today's date. Mayans have threaded 2012 as a central theme in their belief system, so it is important for us to see the applications that it has on us as a species. To dive into the true definition of what an 'apocalypse' is, we can refer to the ancient Greek understanding: (Ancient Greek: ἀποκάλυψις apocálypsis, from ἀπό and καλύπτω meaning 'un-covering'), translated literally from Greek, is adisclosure of knowledge, hidden from humanity in an era dominated by falsehood and misconception, i.e., a lifting of the veil or revelation, although this sense did not enter English until the 14th century.[1] (Source: Wikipedia).

In case it hasn't been felt already, an evolutionary current running through the veins and vibrating within the cells in the months prior to 12/21/12, it will point out all of the implications of this magnificent date and what can be done to celebrate it's existence and passage. Through the use of psychedelics and shamanic substances, the Mayans have been able to pinpoint this date, almost miraculously, with their vivid understanding of cosmology. While today's calendar is based off of the Gregorian database (originating from Rome, or the Vatican) the Mayans had a totally different setup for time and astrological dates of significance. Not only was their calendar light years more precise than ours today, but they had more than one calendar.



This ensured that they would have the utmost accuracy in their astrological predictions which could be necessary for farming, healing, shamanic ceremonies, or even religious traditions.

Terence McKenna, the high priest of the psychedelic enthusiasts, did some prophetic work studying the I-Ching and established a theory based on computers which would be named “The Singularity” in which those passing through the 2012 gate would be led into a different reality. Interestingly enough, he did all of this before any of the 2012 fanatics ever said a word about it. Although he never got to witness it himself, it still stands true today. Times are changing, faster than ever, and the technology that that is used today to encompass almost every life event, is speeding up faster every decade. This will lead humanity, according to McKenna, into an age of “Singularity”.



In reflection of the year 2012, people witnessed everything from the corruption and deceitfulness of government administrations, the killing of innocent people across the globe with technology based on drones, two unfortunate staged killing sprees by individuals on pharmaceutical drugs and trained by CIA intelligence used in a similar fashion as the Patriot Act following the 9/11 event, to make a futile attempt at the banning of assault weapons and on the positive side, states have risen up in recognition to their own sovereignty: Colorado and Washington legalizing marijuana with both positive and negative connotations, several states signing petitions to secede from the United States and the awakening on an individual level, that power is not without, but within. It starts with small, unheard of, cities such as Wichita, banning water fluoridation. Then a teenage girl reads a Gatorade bottle and gains insight of potentially hazardous ingredients which results in a huge commotion to petition to remove them from the drink, which is owned by Pepsi. This is the beginning of a revolution for a new age, non violent, raising of awareness that cannot be stopped by any force or power. This is due to the fact that awareness is not a physical phenomenon.

2012 is the year of the dragon and is issuing forth 2013, the year of the snake. There is much truth to the wisdom of the zodiac. While it isn't necessary to go on an astrology rant here, it's just one factor that one can use to visualize the outcome that the future will bring. Every animal has different, unique properties and the feature of the snake is its hidden, camouflaged nature that will strike at a moment's notice. This is what 2013 is capable of, bringing forth unwanted events, if we are not fully utilizing our inherent wisdom, awareness,  and power.

Nothing in the universe is more powerful than the human being and within the anatomy of the human being, nothing is more complex that the brain. What is stored in that device, what is allowed to infiltrate it or what it is used it for is the biggest facet that will create any potential outcome. In quantum physics, for example, it is well known that a collective group of people maintain a "collective consciousness". This is the idea of a group of people influencing the outcome of their existence. Humanity has a collective consciousness and is in the process of deciding what exactly it will do with it.

If people continue to subdue their power bestowed onto them and fall prey as a victim to their government, poor results will be seen. However, if the individual exercises every single one of their "declared rights" and makes sure that they are intact, while utilizing their skills that they've perfected, it will ensure a brighter future for the world to see. Now is the most perfect time for people to unite and manifest the change that they wish to see in the world. No person, political figure, or organization can achieve what one person is capable of doing in a lifetime. While 2012 has not been a doomsday event, we will be sure to experience one if the willpower becomes flaccid and the individual is driven to laziness. Innovation is a key to bearing a fruitful outcome in anything. So, mankind, use your talents and gifts to visualize the world that you wish to see and it will become reality just as words become speech by train of thought.
